ZTE is planning to launch a 5G smartphone in China, dubbed Axon 11 on March 23. The smartphone is expected to compete in the mid-range price segment with the likes of Vivo X30, Realme X50, and Redmi K30 in China. The render of the handset was leaked yesterday where we figured out the quad camera setup on the rear, waterdrop notch display and a minimalist design on the rear. Today, the Geekebench listing of the ZTE Axon 11 revealed the key specifications ahead of the launch.
The ZTE Axon 11, according to Geekbench comes with 6GB RAM, Android 10 OS and a Qualcomm processor. The smartphone comes with a model number A2021. The motherboard is codenamed ‘dice’ and we expect the processor to be Snapdragon 765G, since Qualcomm has only two chipsets that offer 5G connectivity – SD865 and SD765. On Geekbench, the ZTE Axon 11 posted a single core score of 2867 and multi core score of 7853, which thinks us that the processor should be a mid-range chipset like the Snapdragon 765.
The ZTE Axon 11 with model number A2021 was also spotted in the 3C certification, where we got to know that the device supports 18W fast charging. The launch is just two days away from now, and we expect more details to spill from certifications and leaks. The Axon 11 is also expected to launch in Europe as we had already seen some of the Axon series smartphones releasing in the continent.
