Update at 11:30AM IST: The popular Weibo leakster Digital Chat Station revealed the alleged 3C certification of the ZTE Axon 11 5G. As per the certification, the device comes with the model number ZTE A2021 and supports 18W fast charging technology. With this, we now can confirm that the Axon 11 is totally a new smartphone with model number A2021. The Axon 10S, on the other hand has the model number A2020.
The Axon 11 is the upcoming 5G smartphone from the Chinese brand ZTE. The Axon 10S is expected to launch soon, but it looks like, ZTE is bringing the Axon 11 5G on March 23 at an online event in China ahead of the Axon 10s. There are chances that the company to also skip the Axon 10s for the Axon 11. The Axon 11 5G will feature the Snapdragon 865 chipset.
We are yet to hear about the Axon 11, and it is believed that the ZTE Axon 11 will replace the Axon 10s. If it happens, the Axon 11 will feature Snapdragon 865 SoC which comes with integrated 5G modem and support dual mode 5G. The device will flaunt a 6.47-inch OLED waterdrop notch screen with a 20MP front facing camera. On the back, there could be a triple camera setup consisting of 48MP + 20MP + 8MP sensors. In the memory department, there will be choice to pick between 6GB, 8GB and 12GB RAM; storage options to include are 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. Powering the device will be a 3900mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging feature.
The ZTE Axon 11 5G will launch in China on March 23 and the launch in other markets is not known currently. We had seen ZTE launching the Axon 10, Axon 10 Pro in the Europen market, we expect the launch of the Axon 11 5G soon in the continent.
