Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Confirmed to Sport Snapdragon 730G Processor

Today, Xiaomi has officially announced that its upcoming Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro would equip Snapdragon 730G processor. The company revealed the information through its official Weibo account. In another Weibo post, Xiaomi has confirmed the presence of another feature, i.e., colourful breathing light of the screen. Whenever a user receives a notification or incoming calls, the entire side frame of the curved side screen would emit dazzling light. Hence, it makes sure all user notifications remain addressed in time. The Mi CC9 Pro would be officially released on November 5 at 2 PM in China.

Xiaomi is known to reveal the specifications and features of the upcoming devices incrementally, and it has been doing the same for the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro. Let’s take a look at the specifications and features of Mi CC9 Pro we know so far. The device features a hyperbolic screen and four-curved body design and offers a firm grip to the users.  The phone is announced in two colour variants, i.e., Magic Green and Ice and Snow Aurora.

 The Mi CC9 Pro flaunts a 6.47-inch OLED waterdrop display bearing a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The handset is powered by the Snapdragon 730G processor, which adopts the same architecture and 8nm process similar to the Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. There is a significant increase in the CPU and GPU performance over the earlier generation. The CPU performance is increased by 35%; GPU performance increased by 25%, and AI performance is also increased by two times.

The Mi CC9 Pro likely arrives in three RAM variants, 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB. In terms of storage, the device has three variants of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The most exciting feature of the device is the Penta-camera set up with a 108MP primary sensor. The rear camera configuration supports 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 50x digital zoom. The phone draws its power from a massive 5260mAh battery, thereby making it the first Xiaomi device to sport more than 5000mAh battery. Further, the device supports 30W fast-charging technology and refills the battery within a short time.
