Hold your breath, as you are about to witness the latest sneak peek of Xiaomi’s latest, most anticipated smartwatch – the Mi Band 4. Known for its pocket-friendly smartphone models, Xiaomi also ventured into other electronic gadgets like TVs, earphones and as all Mi fans know – smart watches!
Bagging the certification from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group in March, the Mi Band 4 is expected to arrive in two variants. One variant will be NFC-enabled while the other one will lack NFC support.
Freshly leaked renders reveal a color display and circular touch sensitive button
Unlike the previous version of the gadget which sported a monochrome OLED display, the Mi Band 4 is said to support a full-color display. Furthermore, the omission of the concave capacitive button just under the display on the Mi Band 4 sets it aside from its previous version.
Another compelling feature flaunted in the model is the Xiao AI, which is Xiaomi’s voice-activated smart assistant. Apart from this, all other physical attributes of the gadget are similar to the Mi Band 3.
More battery always leads to more fun
Expected to be at least as impressive as its predecessor, the rumors boast about the Mi Band 4 to have a 135mAh battery. Although, one must keep in mind that the inclusion of the color display and a few other new features might consume more battery life than the previous model.
Surprisingly, the color display and the enhanced battery life aren’t the only new features that the Mi Band 4 will be declaring. The smartwatch will also support Bluetooth 5.0 and arrive with an improved heart rate monitoring system.
Even after the leaks and gossips, the exact timeframe for the gadget’s release has not been confirmed.
