Vodafone has recently introduced its new Rs 599 prepaid plan to compete against the Airtel prepaid plan of Rs 597 and this new plan offers 6GB data to the users for the entire validity period.
The British multinational telecommunications, Vodafone has been launching a lot of new plans in the near past for its prepaid plan portfolio with recharges of values ranging from low to high prices. After releasing the 16 filmy recharge for the subscribers and the Rs 299 prepaid recharge plan, the Rs 599 plan was expected to be released and that is exactly what Vodafone has done. Bharti Airtel has got a similar Rs 597 plan retailing in its prepaid portfolio which makes the new Vodafone plan a direct competitor of Airtel prepaid plan.

The new plan introduced by Vodafone that costs Rs 599 is a Bonus Card Type of plan and it does not offer talk time to the subscribers. However, the benefits of the plan include unlimited local, STD and roaming calls as well as 6GB 3G/4G data for the subscribers, valid for the entire period of the plan, i.e., 180 days. 1800 SMS are provided to the users for the entire 180 days. Other benefits involve free live TV, movies, and shows on the Vodafone Play App. The plan is, for now, available only in select circles, but the circles where it’s available, it’s an open market recharge.

The plan offered by Airtel that costs Rs 597 also includes a data limit of 6GB 3G/4G data for the subscribers but a period of 168 days. The plan offers free unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, but the validity is 168 days. 300 SMS per month is offered to the users in the prepaid plan. Additional benefits include one year free Norton Mobile security, Airtel TV premium subscription, new 4G device cashback and a free subscription to Wynk Music.
