Vivo has scheduled the launch of the Vivo Z5 for July 31 in China. The smartphone will be the third in the Z series lineup after Z1 Pro and Z5x that were launched in India and China respectively. The real-life images of the Vivo Z5 were spotted online, revealing the complete design and key features. Earlier today, the company took to Weibo to announce the key specifications of the smartphone.
According to the leaked images, the Vivo Z5 comes with a 48MP triple camera setup at the rear and a waterdrop notch display. There are Type-C USB and 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom. The device comes with a 22.5W fast charger out of the box. Based on the earlier reports, the Vivo Z5 pertains to V1921A model that appeared on TENAA and Geekbench. According to TENAA, the device sports a 6.38-inch AMOLED Halo Full View display with a resolution of 2340×1080p. The smartphone measures 159.53 × 75.23 × 8.13mm and weighs 189.6g. Powered by a 4500mAh battery, the smartphone runs Android 9 Pie out of the box.
Apart from these, the company has confirmed that the phone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 712 processor and feature the Multi-Turbo technology. The device comes with a 32MP camera at the front for taking wonderful selfie photos. The phone will flaunt an in-display fingerprint sensor for additional security
The Vivo Z5 will arrive in three gradient colors – Purple, Black, and White. The device will launch on July 31 in China and might be available at a starting price of CNY 1500.
