Vivo India has confirmed that the long-teased Vivo Z1 Pro will be a Flipkart exclusive and it is expected to launch soon. It is aimed at GenZ consumers and will compete in the mid-range market.
There is not much information available about the Vivo Z1 Pro. However, according to reports and a few sources, the Z1 Pro may be a rebranded version of the Vivo Z5x that was launched in China last month. If, just as the reports indicate, the Z1 Pro is a variant of the Vivo Z5x. Based on this we can expect similar pricing and specifications to the Vivo Z5x.
The Vivo Z1 pro is expected to have a starting price in the ballpark of Rs 15,000.
The smartphone is likely to run on FunTouch OS 9 based on Android Pie. The smartphone would sport 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD punch hole display. At the helm of the device, we expect a Snapdragon 700 series processor, most likely the Snapdragon 710 along with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage.
According to Vivo, we can expect fast charging on the device. Furthermore, Vivo has confirmed an AI-powered triple rear camera setup on the device, but the company has not provided clarity on the type of sensors used. Though, it is likely that the phone will have camera specs similar to Vivo Z5x.
Though there isn’t any word on availability, we can expect it to be launched either by the end of June or the beginning of July.
