Vivo seems to be shifting its Y-series, which targets mid-range 4G segment to mid-range 5G with the introduction of the Vivo Y70s. As China is witnessing rapid development of 5G network, smartphone brands are introducing 5G-powered smartphones at various price ranges. India may have to wait a little more time to get these mid-range 5G smartphones due to lack of 5G in the country. Telecom operators are expected to begin 5G trials in 2020 in India and commercial rollout may happen in 2021.
