Vivo is the only brand globally which has come up with several 5G smartphones in various price brackets. After launching the Vivo X30 series with Samsung’s Exynos 980 processor, the brand is now prepping up to launch the X50 series, skipping the X40 as four is considered as unlucky by Chinese people. According to the leaked images on Weibo, Vivo seems to have already started promoting the X50 series in China. The promotional image also reveals us the key design features of the smartphone.
The leaked promotional image of the Vivo X50 suggests there is a rectangular camera setup on the rear with at least 5 cameras (may be wrong). On the front, there is a single punch-hole camera placed on the top left corner of the device. Apart from these, the poster reveals that the smartphone support 5G connectivity.
A report from China says the Vivo X50 series (X50 and X50 Pro) comes with two model numbers V2001A, and V2005A. The two models have recently passed through 3C certification, which revealed the smartphones will support 33W fast charging. The report further noted that the Vivo X50 series may be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 768 processor, which is an improved version of the Snapdragon 765G processor.
The Vivo X50 series once launched, will take on the Redmi K30 Speed Edition, which is the world’s first smartphone with Snapdragon 768 processor. The series is expected to come with a mid-range price tag similar to the Redmi K30 Speed Edition.
