Yesterday, we had heard the Vivo X50 moniker for the first time and learned that it will soon launch in China. Today, the company has officially announced that the Vivo X50 will launch on June 1 in the Chinese market. The smartphone comes with a tagline ‘Professional Image Flagship’, which could mean it will be a camera-centric device and support 5G. The Vivo X30 Pro which was launched in 2019, sports 60X digital zoom, and 5x optical zoom lens.
The teaser video released by the company today has put focus on the camera. Apart from this, the video did not reveal anything about the Vivo X50 5G. Previous reports suggest, the Vivo X50 series, which is expected to include X50 and X50 Pro will have the model numbers V2001A, and V2005A. These two models were earlier spotted on 3C certification with 33W fast charging support. It is also speculated that the Vivo X50 series will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 768 processor.
The design of the Vivo X50 5G was also leaked yesterday on a promotional poster, revealing the single punch-hole camera on the top left corner of the device. There is a rectangular camera setup on the rear as well.
The Vivo X50 is now listed on official Vivo website in China and is opened for appointment. We will get to know more details of the device as the launch date approaches closer.
