Vivo X30-1

It is already known that Vivo is working on the Vivo X30 smartphone through the trademark filings. The device will sport 5G and equip Samsung Exynos 980 chipset that is built on 8nm process technology. It is an integrated 5G chip and supports SA / NSA dual-mode 5G. Now, as per the Weibo post of a tipster, the Vivo X30 5G will launch by the end of this year (2019). The conference posters shared by the tipster give us a hint that the device will sport a full-screen display without any bezels and a triple camera setup at the rear. The Vivo X30 will succeed the Vivo X27 that was launched earlier this year. Here’s what we know so far about the Vivo X30.

in September 2019, Samsung had introduced the Exynos 980 chipset and announced its partnership with Vivo to launch the chipset. The Exynos 980 SoC is manufactured using the FinFET 8-nanometer technology and has 8 cores: a Cortex-A77 duo with a clock frequency of 2.2 GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 cores that have a peak frequency of 1.8 GHz. The chipset will also offer support for 108 megapixels, LPDDR4x RAM and up to 3360×1440 pixels resolution.

Earlier in June 2019, the Vivo X30 was trademarked on EUIPO suggesting the launch of this new device. It is expected that the Vivo X30 will launch by the end of this year at least in China.
