Vivo X30 5G Officially Launching in China on December 16, Allegedly Spotted on Geekbench

Vivo has yet another flagship smartphone in its bucket and is going to launch in December itself in the home country. Vivo, yesterday launched the iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition with Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. Today, through its official Weibo account, Vivo announced that its next 5G flagship Vivo X30 5G will launch in China on December 16. The company has been teasing the smartphone for quite some time now and we know few features ahead of the launch.

The Vivo X30 is expected to have a 50mm portrait lens, which was revealed through the official promo video released last week. Another camera feature we got to know is the live focus functionality which gives the device to focus and capture images of people, even if they are at a far distance from you. Another feature that the Vivo X30 camera will likely sport is the 60x Super Zoom feature.

The Vivo X30 will be equipped with Exynos 980 processor and come loaded with JoviOS instead of FuntouchOS. Exynos 980 is the first 5G-integrated processor from Samsung that is based on 8nm FinFET process. The chipset supports 4K UHD video recording at 120 frames per second (fps) and HDR10+.

Today, a new Vivo smartphone with flagship scores, 8GB RAM, Exynos 9630 and Android 9 was spotted on Geekbench. The device bears the model number V1938CT and is expected to be the Vivo X30 5G. The Exynos 9630 is made on the 8nm process according to reports. We expect Exynos 9630 will be named as Exynos 980 SoC when launched.

The Vivo X30, as said, is going to launch in China on December 16. The device is expected to take on the likes of Realme X50, Honor V30, Huawei Nova 6 5G smartphones.
