Vivo S6 is launching on March 31 in China and will be the mid-range 5G smartphone from the brand. The handset is now confirmed to sport a quad camera setup on the rear, which is arranged in a circular fashion. The confirmation comes from the company which posted a poster on its official Weibo account. The Vivo S6 is also listed on Chinese e-commerce website, Suning and has opened for appointment. The webpage on the e-commerce website also revealed the images of the smartphone. One of the images revealed that the Vivo S6 will sport a 48MP camera. It is also revealed on the page that the device will be available in two color options.
The Vivo S6, according to the official images, comes with a 48MP quad camera setup on the rear. The device comes with a 5G support that is offered by the Samsung’s Exynos 990 chipset that comes with 5G Exynos Modem 5123 and is manufactured on the 7nm process technology. Interestingly, Vivo X30 and X30 Pro also sport the same Exynos 990 chipset and were launched in the mid-range price segment.
Earlier news from the company confirms that the Vivo S6 will be feather light. The official image also revealed the bottom edge of the handset, where we could spot the USB Type-C port, speaker grill and the SIM card tray. In another image leaked by Digital Chat Station, the Vivo S6 will allegedly sport a dual selfie camera setup on the front.
The Vivo S6 is also expected to launch in India as we had already seen several S-series phones launched in India.
