Vivo S6 is launching in China on March 31 and will be the successor to the Vivo S5 that was launched in 2019. Ahead of the official launch, the purported real-life images of the Vivo S6 have leaked on Weibo, giving us the first look of the design. The leaked hands-on images revealed the waterdrop notch on the front and the quad camera setup on the rear, which is arranged in a circular fashion. The power button and volume rocker keys are placed on the right side of the phone.
The Vivo S6 5G was spotted on TENAA yesterday, where full specifications had revealed. As per the TENAA certification, the Vivo S6 comes with a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display having an aspect ratio of 20:9. The handset runs on 2.2GHz octa-core processor, which is speculated to be the Exynos 980 chipset. The memory options include 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB options. In the camera department, the Vivo S6 comes with a quad camera setup which has 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors. On the front, there is a 32MP camera for shooting selfies. Vivo is also expected to power the smartphone by a 4,390mAh battery with support for fast charging. Finally, the device will run Android 10 out of the box.
The Vivo S6 supports 5G along with other networks like 4G, 3G and 2G bands. The device is also expected to launch in India after it gets launched in China.
