Vivo S series experienced success both in China and India, thanks to its novel and youth-focused design and features. After S1 and S1 Pro, Vivo is now prepping up to launch the S5 in the home country. The device got leaked a few days ago revealing the back design and the camera alignment. Now, the company has put out a teaser video of the Vivo S1 suggesting the imminent launch of the device in China.
The Vivo S5 teaser put out by the company doesn’t reveal much about the device, except that the device will launch soon in China. The device will come with a tag line “Illuminate Your Beauty”. The Vivo S5, which was leaked by Chinese singer Cai Xukun will sport a diamond-shaped quad-camera setup along with an LED flash at the back. This is unlike the Vivo S1 and S1 Pro, which have a vertically aligned triple camera setup. The rear panel as appeared in the leaked video has a gradient finish.
Going by previous rumors, the Vivo S5 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 675 SoC and come with up to 8GB of RAM. The device could have a 48MP camera at the back and a 32MP camera for taking amazing selfies. The Vivo S5 is expected to launch in the first week of November in China and might be priced competitively to take on Realme and Xiaomi.
