Vivo has scheduled the launch of the Vivo S5 for November 14 in China. The device will launch as the successor to the Vivo S1 and S1 Pro and sport a new diamond cut design for the first time. The company is also planning to launch the Ikun Custom Gift Box edition of the Vivo S5 on the same date. The teaser page of the new custom edition is now live on the official website. The official website is also taking the reservations of the Vivo S5 and Ikun Custom Gift Box edition.
According to the teaser present in the official site, the Vivo S5 will sport a hole-punch which is present to the upper right corner of the display. The bezels are slim and the device is thinner compared to the previous generation S series models. We can also confirm the presence of the in-display fingerprint sensor, which also suggests that the Vivo S5 will sport an AMOLED display. On the top, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Previous rumors hint at triple camera setup at the rear that is arranged in a diamond fashion. We expect the device to come with a 48MP rear and a 32MP selfie camera, but nothing can be confirmed as of now.
