Vivo S5 is the upcoming phone that the company is teasing for a while. Now, Vivo took to Weibo to announce the launch of the S5 in China. According to the official post on Weibo, the Vivo S5 will launch on November 14 in China. The device was first leaked by Chinese singer Cai Xukun last week in an interview given to the media.
Chinese singer Cai Xukun was spotted holding the Vivo S5 in a video, which revealed a unique arrangement of rear camera setup. Unlike the previous S-series, the Vivo S5 will have a diamond-shaped camera module. There will be three cameras and an LED flash. Apart from these things, nothing has been revealed from the video.
The other phones present in the S-series include Vivo S1 and Vivo S1 Pro. These phones sport a vertically aligned rear camera setup and a gradient finish that gives a great aesthetic look.
We expect the Vivo S5 to sport a mid-range processor like the Snapdragon 675 SoC or the Snapdragon 712 SoC and come with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. As for the camera, there will most likely be a 48MP rear camera and a 32MP selfie camera. There will also be a massive battery and support fast charging. We will reveal more details of the device as and when we hear them from the company. Until then, stay tuned to IndiaShopps.
