Earlier this month it was reported that Vivo would release new Z and S series phones in India shortly. The Z series was launched by Vivo last week, while the S series models are still under wraps. Now, we finally have details about the awaited S series model, including its configuration and price points. The first Vivo S series handset will come in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB versions and will feature a triple camera setup on the back.  The 6GB variant will be priced around Rs 20,000, and the 8GB model will approximately cost Rs 25,000.

The handset will not just focus on specifications, but on design and style as well. Moreover, Vivo’s S series will be an offline-exclusive device. It will prove to be a tough competition for Samsung’s A series models and will keep Xiaomi and Realme at bay as they launch an aggressive offline strategy. Unfortunately, other details about the upcoming S series model are not available at the moment but will be soon. Therefore, stay tuned!
