NEX, the flagship series of Vivo is coming up with the brand new NEX 3S on March 10 in the Chinese market. The smartphone will launch as a successor to the NEX 3 that was launched in 2019. The company has already released the teasers, giving us a glimpse of how the device is going to be. Today, the latest video and image teaser did reveal the key specification and a new color option of the NEX 3S ahead of the launch.
The Vivo NEX 3S is now officially confirmed to sport the Snapdragon 865 chipset which comes with an integrated X55 5G modem and is made using 7nm process technology. The device, once launched, will compete with the iQOO 3, Realme X50 Pro, OPPO Find X2 in the Chinese market. The teasers also revealed the waterfall display of the device which appears to be just like the displays of the Motorola Edge Plus and OPPO Find X2. The device will also appear in sky blue color as seen in the video.
Earlier, the Vivo NEX 3S with model number V1950A was spotted on TENAA and Google Play Console listing, revealing key specifications. As per TENAA, the NEX 3S should carry a triple camera setup that is loaded with a 64MP primary sensor and two 13MP sensors. There will be 8GB RAM and 256GB storage options. On the front, Vivo is providing a 16MP camera probably in a popup mechanism.
The Vivo NEX 3S is landing in China on March 10. As there is a coronavirus outbreak in China, we expect the launch event to happen online just like how other brands are carrying out.
