Vivo is expected to launch the NEX 3 smartphone in September in China. Ahead of the official announcement, the unboxing video of the device went live on YouTube, revealing its design in full glory. The Vivo NEX 3 will come in two variants as per the new leak surfaced on Weibo – 5G and the standard 4G. The specifications and features of the two devices (NEX 3 and NEX 3 5G) remain the same except for the network compatibility. Let’s take a look at the specifications of the Vivo NEX 3 in detail.

The leaked specifications posted on Weibo suggest that the Vivo NEX 3 is powered by a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. The device comes in two RAM options (8GB and 12GB RAM) and three storage options (128GB, 256GB, and 512GB internal storage). The device shines in the camera department by having a triple camera setup at the rear that houses 64MP + 13MP + 13MP sensors. For taking selfie shots, there is a 16MP pop-up camera at the front.
The device flaunts a 6.89-inch display (probably AMOLED) with a resolution of 2256 x 1080p, measures 167.44 x 76.14 x 9.4mm and weighs 217.3g (5G variant weighs 218.5g). Powering the device is a 4,500mAh battery that comes with 44W fast charging support. The phone also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port.

Vivo will launch two versions of the NEX 3 – a standard 4G and 5G. The company already announced that the device will launch in September, although official date is not revealed.
