Vivo NEX 3 Scores Highest on AnTuTu, Makes It ‘World’s Fastest Phone’

Vivo NEX 3 has gone live in China today and the smartphone is made available in 4G and 5G variants. NEX 3 is the world’s first smartphone that ships with nearly 100% body-to-screen ratio. The device comes with no physical buttons and packs a Super AMOLED screen with curved edges, which Vivo calls waterfall screen. Soon after the launch, the popular benchmarking app AnTuTu released the score of 8GB+256GB variant of the NEX 3 device. The scores clearly indicate the pure dominance of the NEX 3 compared to the competitors available currently.

Vivo NEX 3 AnTuTu Score Details:

On AnTuTu, the Vivo NEX 3 scored 4,93,797 points, which is the highest score till date by any smartphone available today. As per the AnTuTu V8 August rankings, Black Shark 2 Pro (12GB+128GB) stands top in the list with 4,69,708 points. Next to it is the ASUS Rog Phone 2 and OnePlus 7 Pro, which scored 4,69,590 and 4,47,345 respectively. The NEX 3 score and rankings are based on the eighth version of the benchmarking software that is available only in China. The scores given by this version are based on the storage of the device. Hence, the scores may vary as per the storage of the device.

Vivo NEX 3 Specifications and Features

The Vivo NEX 3 comes in two versions – 4G and 5G. The two devices carry the same specs and differ only in the connectivity. The NEX 3 is equipped with a Snapdragon 855+ Soc that is slightly better than the SD855 in terms of clock speed and graphics performance. The main USPs of the device include a bezel-less display, a triple camera setup consisting of Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright GW1 64MP sensor and an impressive 99.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device comes with a 4,500mAh battery and supports 22.5W fast charging tech. As for the memory and storage, the device is available in 8GB RAM + 256GB storage (priced at RMB 5,698) and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option (priced at RMB 6,198). The NEX 3 will go on sale starting September 21 in China. As for the launch in India, there is no official word yet.
