Vivo sub-brand iQOO allegedly teased a new smartphone launch through a poster. The teaser confirms that the new smartphone will be equipped with Snapdragon 845 processor, 4000mAh battery, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of onboard storage and waterdrop display. As per the pricing, the upcoming iQOO phone will be priced at CNY 1998 in China. The poster does not reveal any details about the launch.
Another poster which appeared on Jingdong mall revealed that iQOO will launch a new smartphone on June 10 and will be called iQOO Youth Edition. Based on these two teasers, we can assume that the upcoming iQOO smartphone equipped with Snapdragon 845 processor will be officially called iQOO Youth Edition and will be launched on June 10 in China.
A Geekbench listing which was spotted a few days ago gives us more concrete details about this upcoming smartphone. According to Geekbench, the new Vivo phone codenamed Vivo V1914A is equipped with Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB of RAM and runs Android 9 Pie OS. Based on the available information, we can conclude that the Vivo V1914A pertains to the iQOO Youth Edition.
The iQOO Youth Editon will be the first smartphone to launch with Snapdragon 800 series chipset after a year of its release.
