Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is teasing the launch of its new phone called iQOO Neo for the past few days in China. iQOO has been revealing a few of the features through some posters on Weibo. Unexpectedly, iQOO is using the last year’s Snapdragon 845 processor on the Neo smartphone. Apart from this, the company has confirmed that the iQOO Neo will feature 4D Game Shock 2.0, Super Liquid Cooling features, which indicate that the smartphone will be gaming-centric. Now, the most-awaited launch date of the iQOO Neo smartphone for China has been officially revealed. The device is confirmed to launch on July 2 with the theme of “core and strong”.

iQOO Neo confirmed specifications and features include Snapdragon 845 chipset, 4D Game Shock 2.0 and Super Liquid Cooling.
The 4D Game Shock 2.0 might be the feature related to gaming, which adds in-game vibration effects when playing games like PUBG Mobile and Asphalt 9. Honor Play had a feature similar to this called 4D Smart Shock that adds dense vibrations which are tuned differently depending upon the scene.
Super Liquid Cooling is for cooling the CPU while playing heavy games like PUBG, Fortnite games. Similar features are present on Xiaomi Black Shark 2 and other gaming smartphones. All of these features indicate that the iQOO Neo is a gaming-centric smartphone.
As per the specifications and features leaked on TENAA, the device sports a 6.38 inches waterdrop display, battery capacity of 4420mAh. The device measurements include 159.53 × 75.23 × 8.13mm. In the camera department, the iQOO Neo sports a triple rear camera setup in the rear. There could be an under-display fingerprint sensor and the phone could support 22.5W fast charge.
