We already knew that Vivo is working on a new iQOO mobile with Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. The device was earlier spotted on popular benchmarking platforms like AnTuTu, Master Lu and certification sites like TENAA, 3C, and so on. Vivo hasn’t made any official announcement about the smartphone until today. Surprisingly, Vivo released an official poster today on its Weibo account revealing the name and the key features of the upcoming phone. Vivo is calling it as the iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition.
The poster reveals that the upcoming iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition will sport a waterdrop notch display. Along with this, we could also see the volume rocker and power buttons arranged on the right side of the device. Vivo also revealed that the launch date of the device will be announced tomorrow.
Based on the previous reports, the iQOO Neo 855 Speed Version (V1936AL) comes with Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, up to 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, UFS 3.0 flash memory. The upcoming device will have a resolution of 2340 × 1080p and a primary camera of 12MP. The device was also spotted earlier in Android Enterprise listing, which revealed the render, and key specifications.
The iQOO Neo 855 Speed Version is expected to launch in December and take on the likes of the Realme X2 Pro, Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition in China.
