Current generation smartphones posses up to 44W fast charging technologies which can fully charge the devices in less than 45 minutes. Xiaomi, early this year showcased its 100W fast charging technology that can charge the phone in 17 minutes. Now, the time has come for 120W super-fast flash charging technology by Vivo, yet another Chinese company.
Vivo 120W Super Fast Flash Charge Technology Details
This morning, Vivo officially announced its 120W ultra-fast flash charging and said that the 4000mAh battery can only take 13 minutes to get fully charged. Vivo could bring this latest technology with its upcoming Vivo 5G Smartphone that is expected to be announced at MWC Shanghai 2019 event on June 26.
According to the video posted by Vivo iQOO product manager Golan V, with 120W of charging power and battery of 4000 mAh capacity, a mobile phone can charge to 50% in 5 minutes and fully charge in just 13 minutes.
To recap, Vivo introduced 44W fast charging technology on its iQOO smartphone and has become popular and set a trend in the industry.
