Sony, the Japanese technology brand, is expected to launch two new smartphones for Japan on July 9. The latest mobiles could be called Xperia 1s and Xperia 1v, according to the report. Sony, during the launch of Xperia 1, said that it would launch an affordable variant of the phone that will equip LCD screen and Snapdragon 855 processor. There’s also a leaked image of the upcoming Sony smartphone that gives us a glimpse of the rear side. According to the leaked image, the Sony Xperia 1s/1v will feature a triple rear camera setup, which will be placed at the upper left corner end unlike the Xperia 1 that has the camera setup placed in the middle.
Judging by the leaked picture, the Sony logo is placed at the center like the Xperia 1 and the phone comes in purple color. The detailed specifications and features are unknown at the time of writing this article, but we expect it would more or less match the Xperia 1 at least in the memory department. The difference would only probably exist in the camera and display.
The Sony Xperia 1s and Xperia 1v are expected to be launched on July 9 in Tokyo, Japan. The report says that the phone will be exclusive to Japan. Hence, there are lesser chances to expect the availability of this phone in other countries.
