Samsung is expected to launch the Lite variant of the Galaxy Tab S6 soon in various countries. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite was recently spotted in Bluetooth SIG, Taiwan’s NCC certifications, where the moniker got confirmed. The tablet has now appeared in FCC listing, which suggests its launch in the US market. The Galaxy S6 Lite comes with a model number SM-P615 and its S-Pen has a model number CP-911-01B. The FCC listing reveals the tablet supports 4G connectivity and has a slot for microSD card.
Earlier, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite was certified by Bluetooth SIG, where the moniker was first confirmed. Later the tablet appeared on Geekbench, where we got to know the key specifications like Exynos 9611 chipset, 4GB RAM and Android 10 (preassumably OneUI 2.0).
The Tab S6 Lite is reported to arrive with re-designed S-Pen and support wireless charging, but it is not confirmed at the moment. The S-Pen is tipped to be thicker than what comes with the Galaxy Note series. So, as it is unable to fit inside the tablet, the requirement for the wireless charging is must. The Tab S6 Lite is expected to launch in several markets including the US, India, Taiwan, Europe, and more.
