The latest leaks suggest that Samsung is not only refreshing the galaxy tab S line up with the Galaxy Tab S5 but also launching the Galaxy Tab A (2019). Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2019) will be an 8-inch device with thick bezels, aimed at entry-level consumers, which will run on Android Pie.
There is no official statement from Samsung about the device. The Bluetooth SIG has confirmed five different variants of the device, and one of the variants (SM-T295) is certified by the Wi-Fi alliance and will support dual-band Wi-Fi. Moreover, this variant is confirmed by Google as an Android enterprise recommendation.
Based on the leaks, this device will feature a Snapdragon 429 along with 2GB of RAM and up to 32GB of built-in storage. Furthermore, it will also have LTE support for LTE supported networks. Although the tablet lacks a fingerprint reader, it is understandable given the device’s targeted price point.
Currently, there is no information about price and availability. But if we are to make a guess based on its leaked specs, it should be around Rs 10,000 rupees to Rs. 12,000.
