Two months ago, Samsung announced the arrival of a new, more affordable member of the flagship Galaxy Tab S-series, which is the Galaxy Tab S5. However, doubts arose about keeping the signature S Pen, which has now been dropped because of the recent report
A reliable source has revealed that the flagship model is going to come with the S Pen. The source has also provided information about the launch time frame and the Galaxy Tab S5 is expected to come at roughly the same time as the Galaxy Note 10.
However, for the last five years, the flagship has always been launched in August, so changes are expected to be made in the tradition adopted by Samsung. The wait is only for 2 months now.
Notably, the report from the source also specifies some of the features of the upcoming Galaxy Tab S5. The tablet is going to boast a Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6GB of RAM and internal storage up to 512GB while skipping the 64GB variant.
Also, the last two Galaxy Tab S generations launched by Samsung were released with previous gen chipsets. Hence, it’s nice to see Samsung bringing new tablets up to speed for the users.
