Samsung’s upcoming flagship Galaxy S20 trio are creating huge buzz for quite some time now. After launching Galaxy S10 series, Samsung is directly launching the Galaxy S20 series which includes Galaxy S20, S20 Plus and S20 Ultra. All the three devices were spotted in several certifications and just when the launch is getting closer, the Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus with model numbers SM-G980F and SM-G985F get NBTC, Thailand certification.

The two model number SM-G980F/DS and SM-G985F/DS that are spotted in the NBTC certification revealed the monikers for the first time. The certification suggests that the devices are made in South Korea.

Samsung jumped by 10 numbers for its upcoming flagship smartphones. Samsung for the first time is using the 120Hz display on the Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus. All the three devices is touted to come with several exciting features, few of which were already leaked.

As leaked by popular leakster Ishan Agarwal, the Samsung Galaxy S20 will sport a 120Hz Infinity-O dynamic display. The chipset will be the in-house Exynos 990 which is made using the 7nm process. As for the camera, the Galaxy S20 will house a triple camera setup on the rear which will include 12MP main ultra-wide, 64MP telephoto and 12MP ultra-wide cameras. On the front, there will be a 10MP camera that support 4K and 60fps video recording. Finally, there will be a 4000mAh battery powering the device.

As for the Galaxy S20 Plus, there will be the same 120Hz Infinity-O display, but the display size will be 6.6-inch contrary to 6.2-inch present in the Galaxy S20. The camera, processor and storage specifications will also remain the same. Samsung will include a massive 4500mAh battery on the S20 Plus. All the three models will come with IP68 water resistance rating.

The Galaxy S20 Plus will skip 3.55mm headphone jack and will use AKG USB Type-C earbuds, according to folks at XDA. The publication also says that the device will come with 12GB of RAM, 128GB of storage with UFS 3.0 support, Snapdragon 865 SoC (in select markets). Finally, the battery capacity will typically be 4,370 mAh. The device is expected to sport an aspect ratio of 20:9 just like the Sony Xperia 1 and Xperia 10.
