After the success of the first three smartphones of the new Galaxy M series, Samsung is ready to introduce its fourth smartphone M40. The Galaxy M40 was rumored to be launching in India in early June, and we have now got a launch date by YouTuber Gaurav Chaudhary of Technical Guruji. He published a video of the Galaxy M40, in which he revealed some important details about the phone which includes the launch date too.
The Galaxy M40 is the first M series smartphone which will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Infinity-O display. It will have a cutout for the selfie camera on the top left corner of the display. It will be powered by Snapdragon 675 SoC with the Adreno 612 GPU. It will be having 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and will run on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
According to some rumor, the triple rear camera setup is going to have some major improvements and the camera will be better than M30, and also there is a chance that Galaxy M40 gets a capacitive fingerprint sensor and not an in-display optical fingerprint sensor like other M series phones.
The Galaxy M40 might cost ₹20,000 ($290). The Galaxy M30 price is ₹17,990 ($250) for the 6GB+128GB variant, so the M40’s rumored price would make it a very great deal.
