Samsung is all set to launch the new Galaxy M31 on February 25 at 12 noon (IST) in India. The new Galaxy M31 would succeed the Galaxy M30s that was launched in 2019. Today, the phone made its appearance on the microsite of the Samsung India website, as well as on Amazon, revealing key specifications. The official live images did confirm key specifications and revealed the design aspects of the phone. Besides the launch date, there are no details concerning the launch event. Samsung Galaxy M31 Confirmed Specifications and Features
The Samsung Microsite, as well as Amazon, “Notify me” page, did highlight some of the key specifications of the Galaxy M31. The phone sports a full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity U display. The phone also retains the gradient back finish, as seen in the Galaxy M-series phones last year. The U-shaped notch located at the top center of the display panel houses the selfie camera. The phone features a quad-camera setup on the rear housed inside a rectangular shaped module. The Galaxy M31 ships with an upgraded 64MP primary camera sensor, as opposed to the 48MP primary camera, as seen in the Galaxy M30s. A rear-mounted fingerprint sensor is also clearly visible from the live images. The Galaxy M31 also retains the massive 6000 mAh battery present in the M30s. There is no mention of fast charging support.
Samsung Galaxy M31 Rumored Specifications
As per the recent rumors, the Samsung Galaxy M31 will likely be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC or the Exynos 9611 processor. The smartphone is expected to be available in two variants: a base variant with 4GB+64GB configuration and a higher 6GB+128GB version. The phone is expected to be available in two colour options, such as Blue and Black. The exact pricing of the smartphone is yet to be revealed, but it is believed that the new phone would be an affordable offering from the South Korean giant.
