Good news for Samsung Galaxy M series users
Just a day after the Samsung Galaxy M30 model received the new Android 9 Pie OS update ahead of schedule in India, the new update is being rolled out for Samsung Galaxy M20 and Samsung Galaxy M10 models as well.
One UI is a kind of software overlay which was designed for by Samsung for its Android gadgets. It is designed to be further streamlined, with specific optimizations to ease one-handed use of smartphones with large screens.

This update brings Samsung’s One UI and improvements to many of the Samsung apps. Interesting additions include support for
- HEIF images
- Night mode
- Option to reply to messages in the notification panel.
- Adaptive battery and brightness
Key differences of features across the three devices are as follows

The changelog across the three devices is the same, with the exception of the Galaxy M10, which did not get the scene optimizer feature in the camera.
To download the update on your device, follow the below mentioned steps
Settings app — software update — tap Download updates manually.
These are big updates, and incur huge data, so it is recommended to use a Wi-Fi network or mobile data with good bandwidth. The phone will need a minimum charge of 20% for the process to start.
