Samsung Galaxy A90 leak suggests Super AMOLED Infinity-U display and rules out sliding camera

Samsung is leaving no stone unturned to compete with the Chinese companies that have lately overshadowed a few smartphone manufacturing giants. The South Korean company is working on Galaxy A90, which have already been reported many times previously. Now, the smartphone has surfaced once again on the internet, this time with a few excellent features that can give it a perfect shape of the flagship from the company. Samsung Galaxy A90 would not feature a rotating or sliding camera. It is tipped to come with an Infinity-U display that indicates to the curved style screen.

According to the previous tweet by tipster OnLeaks, the Samsung Galaxy A90 duo was said to carry a rotating or sliding camera. But now, the tipster has disproved the previous leak and added that the smartphone wouldn’t carry a rotating/sliding camera. He states, “In addition, just because some are suggesting the likely #GalaxyA90 Series called devices (SM-A905/A908) would come with a #GalaxyA80 like camera system. According to my sources, no pop-up or slider camera or anything like this expected on these models…” To recall, the Samsung Galaxy A80 sports a sliding rear camera fashion that features triple camera set up along with an LED flash.

Furthermore, it has been reported that the Galaxy A90 series will feature full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. If that turns to be true, then the Galaxy A90 5G will stick to the company’s Infinity-U display fashion having a waterdrop notch on top. Thus, it has also skipped the possibility of a punch-hole display.

Considering the specs of the smartphone, Samsung Galaxy A90 is said to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. While the display type and resolution are already known, it stands 6.7-inch tall. Coming to the camera department of the smartphone, it sports a triple rear setup with 48MP + 8MP + 5MP lenses. Additionally, rumors and leaks have also revealed that the Pro version of the Galaxy A90 might be in the development phase bearing a 5G connectivity while the other variants seem to feature a 4G support.

Since Samsung Galaxy A90 series is not confirmed officially, the rumors are all to give an idea about what the company is trying to present at this time. Also, the pricing of the smartphone is not yet assumed due to the lack of confirmation from the company. It can be said that the smartphone will be Samsung’s premium product, just like the Galaxy A80. With time, more specification details are likely to come online. But the launch date cannot be guessed as of now.
