Samsung Galaxy A90 will be the latest addition to the A-series and is expected to be launched soon. The Galaxy A90 will be the flagship phone and launch in two variants according to the reliable leakster, Onleaks. Key specifications of the two variants 5G and non-5G have been already leaked. Now, the Galaxy A90 with model number SM-A908N appeared on Geekbench confirming the earlier leaks. Previous leaks indicate that the model number belongs to the 5G variant of the Galaxy A90.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy A90 will be powered by Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. Running Android 9 Pie OS, the device scored 3458 and 10852 on Geekbench 4 single and multi-core tests. The scores seem to be matching with Galaxy S10, but less than that of Galaxy S10+.
Going by previous leaks, the Galaxy A90 with model number SM-A908 would sport Snapdragon 855, a 6.7-inch screen, triple camera setup with 48MP + 8MP + 5MP sensors and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The second variant with model number SM-A905 would also sport Snapdragon 855, 6.7-inch screen with in-display FPS, 48MP+12MP+5MP rear camera setup with exclusive Tilt OIS tech. The variant is said not to support 5G network. Neither of the two models would sport a popup/slider camera like the Galaxy A80 but will feature infinity-U display.
Apart from these, IceUniverse reported that the Galaxy A90 5G variant would come bundled with a 45W fast charger.
Separately, the South Korean Certification Authority has certified a new battery with model code EB-BA908AB, which is speculated to power the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A90 smartphone. The battery comes with a typical capacity of 4580 mAh and rated capacity of 4400mAh. Apart from this, nothing is revealed from the listing.
The Samsung Galaxy A90 is expected to be launched in the coming months, though the exact time frame has not been known yet. The other popular Samsung phones that are in development include Galaxy A10s, Galaxy A30s, Galaxy A50s, Galaxy M30s, Galaxy M60.
