Update: Xiaomi Group Vice President Lu Weibing just confirmed that the Redmi Note 8 Pro will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery. The confirmation comes through a Weibo post where he shared a teaser image with these details inside. He also said, “The copper tube liquid cooling system runs through the processor and power management chip, which can quickly dissipate heat and reduce the processor temperature by 4-6 °C!”. He also said 4,500mAh battery will last for two days of normal usage.
Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro are the most-awaited smartphones from Xiaomi’s spin-off brand. The devices are launching on August 29 in China along with the Redmi TV. The main USPs of the Redmi Note 8 Pro are going to be the 64MP camera and Helio G90T processor, that is designed by MediaTek as a gaming-focused chipset. Today, Redmi announced a few of the key features and Benchmark scores of the Note 8 Pro device that really excite its fans.

Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with Helio G90T chipset that offers a high-level gaming experience to the users. Not compromising on performance, Redmi has chosen the Helio G90T chipset that is more powerful than Snapdragon 710 and slightly lower than the Kirin 810 chipset. On AnTuTu’s latest v8 version, the Redmi Note 8 Pro’s Helio G90T scored 28,3333, while the Snapdragon 710 scored just 214,739 and the Kirin 810 has 301,719 points.
Redmi also says that the Helio G90T is the first German-certified online game experience platform. More details of the same are not known at the moment.

Redmi brand took to Weibo to announce a few key features that the upcoming Note 8 Pro possess. Through the Weibo post, Redmi asks “What qualities should a gaming mobile phone have? See you on August 29”.
The liquid cooling feature and chip-level network delay optimization were announced by Redmi yesterday. In addition to this, the Weibo post says the device will offer full-screen display, sensitive touch, and long battery life. Redmi also offers exclusive game accessories that are compatible with Redmi Note 8 Pro. With all these, Note 8 Pro will be a fully gaming-centric device at a mid-range price tag.
The Helio G90T processor was announced by MediTek last month and offers liquid cooling technology for better heat management. Other benchmarks reports suggest that the chipset is more powerful than the Snapdragon 730 in terms of performance.
