Redmi Note 8 Pro was launched initially in China and later became available in India as well. The smartphone comes with several industry-first specs and has been successfully selling in the countries it got launched. Redmi has made 6GB RAM a minimum option on the Note 8 Pro and has also brought an 8GB RAM variant coupled with 128GB of internal storage. Now, the company has brought the 8GB + 256GB storage variant available in China. The Redmi Note 8 Pro 8GB/256GB variant is priced at CNY 1899 (approx. Rs 19,500) and available on pre-sale via major e-commerce sites.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with a 6.35-inch 3D LCD display with 500 nits max brightness and sports a waterdrop notch. The Note 8 Pro is the word’s first device to equip the Helio G90T SoC and a 64MP camera. The quad-camera setup present in the rear includes a 64 MP (f/1.9, wide), 8 MP (f/2.2, ultrawide), 2 MP (f/2.4, dedicated macro camera) and a 2 MP, (f/2.4, depth sensor). The 64MP primary camera is a Samsung GW1 sensor. In the front, there is a 20MP camera inside the waterdrop notch. The device is powered by a 4000mAh battery that charges via a Type-C charging port and supports 18W fast charging.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro comes is available in three color options – Fritillian white, ice jade, and electro-optical gray. The memory options include 64GB + 6GB RAM, 128GB + 6GB RAM, 128GB + 8GB RAM and the latest 256GB + 8GB RAM. The launch of the 8GB/256GB variant in India is not known at the moment, but we expect Redmi to bring it to India soon.
