Redmi Note 7 Pro Starts Receiving the MIUI 11 Update in India; Users Post Screenshots

The Redmi Note 7 Pro users have now started received the stable MIUI 11 update in India. Some Note 7 Pro users have started posting the screenshots of receiving the update on MIUI forums. Xiaomi, on the other hand, is yet to make an official announcement for the same. Recently, the company has announced the Stable MIUI 11 update at the Redmi 8 series ( Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro) launch event in India. Xiaomi has even announced the list of smartphones that would receive the update at the event. Earlier this week, Redmi K20 and Redmi 7A happen to be the first set of smartphones to receive the MIUI 11 update. The changelog in these screenshots posted by the users did offer only little details regarding the update. As per the screenshots, the new MIUI 11 update measures around 746MB in size and also brings along the October security patch with it. 

MIUI 11 Update Brings in a Lot of Exciting Features

The 11th iteration of Xiaomi’s in-house skin brings a slew of new features that include a system-wide dark mode, minimalistic design, nature-inspired dynamic notification sounds, improvements to touch controls, Floating calculator, Mi File manager, Dynamic clock, steps tracker and more. Apart from this, the MIUI 11 update brings dynamic front feature, seamless and immersive viewing experience, new reminder scaling, Mi-Go Travel, Mi work suits, wallpaper Carousel that lets users have a personalized screen, and so on. 

Xiaomi Rolls Out the MIUI 11 update in an Incremental Fashion

As of now, it is unclear whether the rollout of the MIUI 11 update is available for the Redmi Note 7 users apart from Note 7 Pro. The first batch of devices that are set to receive the OTA update includes the Poco F1, Redmi 7, Redmi Note 7, Note 7 Pro, Note 7s, and Redmi Y3. These devices would receive the update MI UI 11 update from October 22 to October 31. 

If you are a Redmi Note 7 Pro user, you can manually check for the MIUI 11 update by navigating to About Phone- System update in the settings. If you find the update, do make sure to plug in the charger and install the update over a good Wi-Fi connection.
