Redmi K30 Pro is finally landing in China on March 24. The brand has put out a Weibo post today on its official account stating the same. It is the company’s first Snapdragon 865-powered smartphone and will come with 5G support. It is widely speculated that the Redmi K30 Pro will launch as POCO F2 in India. The reason for the speculation is due to the fact that the Redmi K30 was launched as the POCO X2.

It is already confirmed officially that the Redmi K30 Pro will sport the Snapdragon 865 processor, which means it offers 5G support through an integrated X55 5G modem. Earlier, we have reported the camera features and real-life images of the K30 Pro which were leaked on Weibo. If the leaks are any kind of indication, the Redmi K30 Pro comes with a x-shaped quad camera setup consisting of Sony IMX686 lens as a primary sensor. Dual OIS sensors are likely to be present, making it the first device from the Redmi brand.

Redmi K30 Pro Beats the Honor V30 Pro in AnTuTu Test

Redmi brand product director, Wang Teng Thomas released a comparison post on his official Weibo account. He compared the Redmi K30 Pro with the Honor V30 Pro that comes with Kirin 990 SoC. In the AnTuTu test, the Honor V30 Pro managed to score around 489,605 points and the Redmi K30 Pro scored 610,296 points. The post also revealed the front design of the Redmi K30 Pro.

Redmi General Manger Lu Weibing shared the official render of the Redmi K30 Pro which appears in green color. The render clearly reveals the X-shaped quad camera setup with a 64MP primary camera, popup selfie camera and 3.5mm headphone jack.

Separately, popular tipster from India Ishan Agarwal stated that the Redmi K30 Pro will be the cheapest Snapdragon 865-powered device. He also says,

“The focus is on this only so don’t expect majorly good specifications in other areas like the camera. #Redmi #RedmiK30Pro.”

The Redmi K30 Pro is expected to cost anywhere between CNY 3,000 and CNY 3,500, which in Indian currency roughly translates to Rs 31,000 and Rs 37,000. Alongside the Redmi K30 Pro, we also expect the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition as teased by the company’s General Manger Lu Weibing.
