The Redmi Go is an entry-level offering from the Xiaomi and arrived in the Indian market last month. The handset was globally announced in January this year through Xiaomi’s official Twitter handle following a series of rumors. However, at that time the spec-sheet was not revealed except for the color variants.
This affordable smartphone is the first from the Beijing-based manufacturer to boot Android Go edition (Oreo) out-of-the-box and mainly targeted for the first-time smartphone users. However, like many other devices, the Redmi Go does not offer any contemporary aspects like the 19:9 or 18:9 aspect ratio or dual rear cameras, instead it packs a 16:9 aspect ratio along with a budget chipset.
