Lu Weibing, vice president of Xiaomi Group and general manager of Redmi, posted a desktop screenshot on Weibo from the Redmi Flagship Android phone. Though the screenshot does not reveal any information about the phone as such, the image properties revealed key detail of the smartphone. From the image properties, it is revealed that the Redmi Flagship phone will feature a screen resolution of 2340×1080. The aspect ratio is calculated to be 19.5:9.
The Redmi Flagship phone is confirmed to feature a selfie pop-up camera, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, a super wide-angle camera. According to reports, the Redmi Flagship phone will likely sport a Snapdragon 855 processor, a 48MP triple camera with IMX586 sensor from Sony. The battery capacity is reported to be around 4,000mAh.
Yesterday, there were reports that the Redmi Flagship phone will be called Redmi K20 Pro, which is yet to be confirmed by the company. At the same time, several Weibo users shared multiple images saying that the Redmi Flagship phone will be called Redmi X20 Pro, Redmi P20 Pro. Hence, the credibility of the leak is doubtful at this point in time.
The Redmi Flagship phone is expected to be launched in this month in China. The company had already made it sure that the pricing will be competitive given the features. At the time of writing, there is no official word about the India launch.
