Redmi 10X 5G launching in China on May 26, spotted on AnTuTu with key specs and scores

MediaTek today launched its new chipset dubbed Dimensity 820 in China which is made using 7nm process technology. During the launch event, MediaTek announced that the Redmi 10X will be the world’s first smartphone to use the Dimensity 820 SoC. Redmi, through its official Weibo account, has made an announcement about launch of the Redmi 10X 5G for the Chinese market. According to the Weibo post, the smartphone will launch on May 26 and will be offered in four color options. Redmi has released a poster confirming the colors and 48MP quad camera setup on the smartphone. It will be an affordable 5G smartphone from Redmi.

Redmi 10X 5G (M2004J7BC) AnTuTu Test

The Redmi 10X 5G with model number M2004J7BC has also appeared on popular benchmarking platform AnTuTu, where its key specifications have been revealed. According to AnTuTu, the Redmi 10X will sport the MediaTek Dimensity 820 SoC, will be available in 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The screen resolution will be 2400 x 1080 and will made of AMOLED as per previous reports.

The AnTuTu benchmark report also revealed the performance of the Dimensity 820 and compared it with the popular processors – Snapdragon 765, Kirin 810, and Kirin 820. The Dimensity 820 smashes all the three SoCs by a huge margin and comes out as a clear winner. The Dimensity 820 scored 415,277 points, the Snapdragon 765 managed to grab 322,826 points. Whereas, Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 810 and 820 posted the scores of 305,550 and 375,270 respectively.

Earlier, two new Redmi smartphones with model numbers M2004J7BC and M2004J7AC were spotted on Geekbench. Among them, M2004J7BC model is now confirmed to be the Redmi 10X. The other model M2004J7AC is also expected belong to the Redmi 10X series. Redmi President Lu Weibing confirmed that five 5G smartphones under Redmi brand will launch soon.
