Realme X50 Pro Player Edition confirmed to sport Snapdragon 865 SoC, UFS 3.1 flash storage

Realme X50 Pro Player Edition is the upcoming 5G smartphone from Realme that is confirmed to launch on May 25 in China. The 5G handset is said to come with a few upgrades in the hardware over the Realme X50 Pro. While the Snapdragon 865 SoC will remain same in the X50 Pro Player Edition, it is the flash storage that is seeing the upgrade in the X50 Pro Player Edition. Today, Realme has confirmed on its official Weibo account that the X50 Pro Player Edition will equip Snapdragon 865 processor, LDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 flash storage.

The Realme X50 Pro Player Edition, which comes with UFS 3.1 flash storage comes with new Write Booster and DeepSleep and promises faster write speeds. The smartphone is also listed on popular Chinese e-commerce store, where interested buyers can book an appointment ahead of launch.

Earlier, popular tipster Digital Chat Station had revealed the key specifications and renders of the Realme X50 Pro Player Edition. According to him, the device will sport a 6.44-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate. The quad camera setup on the back includes 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP cameras and on the front, there will be 16MP + 2MP cameras. The device will be powered by a 4200mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Realme X50 Pro Player Edition 8GB + 128GB variant will be priced around CNY 3299 in China.
