Realme is launching its first 5G smartphone in the Chinese market this month in the name of the Realme X50. The company has already made it clear that the Realme X50 will sport Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 765G processor that supports dual-mode 5G and offer enhanced gaming performance than the Snapdragon 765. Now, our most trusted sources close to the company revealed to us that there will a Pro variant to the Realme X50 and will launch in Q1 2020. The Realme X50 Pro will be the flagship device from the company that will be equipped with the Snapdragon 865 5G processor.
Realme X50 Pro: What We Know Exclusively
The Realme X50, as said, will equip the Snapdragon 865 SoC and launch in the first quarter of 2020. The device will take on the likes of Redmi K30 Pro and Meizu 17, which are also expected to sport the same Snapdragon 865 processor. The other key feature which our source revealed is that the X50 Pro will sport a 120Hz display, which is a significant upgrade from the 90Hz display present in the Realme X2 Pro.

Realme X50 was being teased by the company for a while and is confirmed to sport the Snapdragon 765G chipset. Apart from this, we also know officially that the device will feature a dual punch-hole display. The device comes with dual-mode 5G and support frequency bands including frequency bands n1, n41, n78, n79. If the earlier reports are to be believed, the Realme X50 will equip the Sony IMX686 image sensor just like the Redmi K30.
The company is yet to announce the launch date for the Realme X50 and announce the Realme X50 Pro. We expect the launch of the former device to happen in late December, when we may also hear something on the Realme X50 Pro. Realme India CEO, Madhav Sheth already confirmed that the Realme X50 will indeed launch in India in 2020.
