Realme has been teasing its upcoming 5G smartphone for quite some time now and today, the company has finally announced the launch date of the device. As per the official post put on Weibo, the Realme X50 5G will launch on January 7 in China. The company has already revealed the key specifications of the Realme X50 including its processor, charging details and much more.
The Realme X50 5G is confirmed to arrive with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 765G processor which offers enhanced gaming performance compared to its sibling Snapdragon 765 SoC. The processor comes with an integrated 5G modem and supports simultaneous 5G and WiFi network connections. The device comes with an enhanced version of VOOC 4.0 fast charging technology that can charge 70% of the 4000mAh battery in just 30 minutes. The Realme X50 also comes with a five-dimensional ice-cooled heat dissipation system that offers 100% coverage of heating sources.
According to the rumored specifications, the Realme X50 5G will sport a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. There will be a 64MP primary camera that uses the Sony IMX686 lens and in the front, there will be a dual selfie camera setup with a 32MP primary camera.
Realme X50 will be the first 5G smartphone released in the year 2020. Redmi K30 5G, Honor V30, Vivo X30 are other smartphones that wear released and on sale already in the Chinese market. The company already confirmed that it will launch the Realme X50 in the Indian market in 2020 itself.
