Realme has announced a new smartphone for the Chinese market today through an official Weibo post. The new smartphone, dubbed Realme X2 will sport a 64MP camera and will launch on September 24. The teaser poster has an eagle, which signifies the performance of the 64MP camera. As Realme is known to rebrand the smartphones, we expect the Realme X2 to be the Realme XT 730G that was announced during the Realme XT launch conference.
Realme X2 is expected to sport a Snapdragon 730G processor and would be a gaming-centric device. The device could come with 30W VOOC fast charging feature. The rest of the specs and features would match with the Realme XT. The company had made the announcement regarding the same during the launch event.
RMX1991 TENAA Listing Details:
Recently, a new Realme smartphone bearing the model number RMX1991 was certified on TENAA, revealing specifications and renders of the device. The handset flaunts a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen, a 32MP selfie camera, and 4,000mAh battery. At the rear, there is a quad-camera setup comprising of a 64MP sensor made by Samsung GW1. The device will come in 6GB + 64GB version and run Android 9 out of the box.
Till we know anything officially from Realme, let us take this with a pinch of salt. As the launch date is set for September 24, the sale might start in the first week of October. The Realme XT 730G will launch in December, though the exact date is not known at the moment.
