Realme X, the flagship phone from Realme has finally received an official launch date. Realme today through a Weibo post announced that the Realme X will be launching in China on May 15 at an event to be held in Beijing. We can also expect the Realme X Youth (Lite) version to launch alongside which is the rebranded Realme 3 Pro that was launched in India last month.
The Realme X and Realme X Youth Edition were spotted recently on JD.com and TMall shopping sites confirming their launch. From the listing, we clearly found out that RMX 1901 refers to Realme X and RMX 1851 refers to Realme X Youth Edition. RMX 1851 in India is the Realme 3 Pro.
As for the specifications and features of the Realme X, the phone is rumored to equip Snapdragon 730 chipset, a dual rear camera with a 48MP sensor, a pop-up selfie camera. The TENAA listing reveals that the Realme X will sport a 6.5-inch display, battery capacity of 3,680mAh. As for the dimensions, the phone measures 161.2 × 76 × 9.4mm.
The Realme X is likely to be priced around 2,000 Yuan (Rs 20,500) and the Realme X Youth Edition will likely be priced around 1,400 Yuan ( Rs 14,400).
The Realme X with model number RMX 1901 has recently appeared on BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), suggesting India launch is imminent.
