Realme X, which is the company’s first pop-up selfie camera phone, will officially get a launch date tomorrow. Today, through a Weibo post, Realme said that “The new leapfrog #realmeX# is about to unblock! Want to know more? Locked up tomorrow at 10 o’clock!” which means that the company will be revealing and announcing the launch date of Realme X at 10 AM tomorrow.
Alongside Realme X, the company is also planning to launch Realme X Youth Edition (Realme X Lite) which is the rebranded Realme 3 Pro (RMX 1851). The same is confirmed through JD.com listing.
We have also got the Realme X and Realme X Youth Edition name logos which give us additional confirmation.
Recently, Realme X was shown off in a YouTube video revealing the back design. The phone has a dual camera setup and no fingerprint sensor in the rear, meaning that there could be an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Realme X with model number RMX 1901 had already surfaced on TENAA revealing key specifications and images. According to the TENAA listing, the Realme X will sport a 6.5-inch display, battery capacity of 3,680mAh. The phone measures 161.2× 76×9.4mm.
Realme founder and CEO Li Bingzhong in a statement said that Realme smartphones would have the ability to provide eye-catching technology to achieve a great level of experience and become a disruptor in the smartphone industry.
We reported exclusively that Realme X along with Realme 3 Pro (could be Realme X Lite) would launch on May 15 in China.
