Update at 09/05/2019, 12 PM: Realme through another Weibo post announced officially that the Realme X will support VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology.
Realme X, company’s first pop-up camera smartphone is set for launch in China on May 15. Realme has been revealing its features one per day through its official Weibo account. Today, Realme announced that the Realme X will be featuring a new-gen in-display fingerprint sensor powered by DSP acceleration technology.
The DSP acceleration technology is being used in Vivo X23 which make in-display fingerprint sensors on phone work better and faster while maintaining a high level of security. The technology is claimed to increase the unlocking speed by 30%. Further, the DSP acceleration technology is faster at processing neural tasks and fingerprint data than the CPU. The technology which is powered by Qualcomm can unlock the smartphone in just 0.35 seconds. Not only the faster and secure unlocking, but users can also unlock their phones at the same speed even under bright light, cold environment or by using dry fingers.
Realme also announced that the Realme X will sport a 48MP Sony IMX586 camera sensor. The phone also supports Nightscape mode. The phone sports notch-less 6.5-inch Full HD+ display. Powered by a 3,680mAh battery, the phone supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology.
On May 15, Realme X will make its appearance alongside Realme X Youth Edition (Realme X Lite), which is said to be the rebranded Realme 3 Pro that was launched in India on April 22.
