Realme has launched the high-end variant of the Realme X with 256GB onboard storage in China which will go on sale from August 18. The new variant is priced at CNY 1999 and available for pre-order on Chinese e-commerce stores that include Jingdong Mall, Suning, and TMall. Not long ago, the Realme X with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant was spotted on TENAA, suggesting an imminent launch.
To recall, Realme X was initially launched in China and later in India. Currently, the smartphone is available in three RAM and two storage variants in China. The base variant with 4GB+64GB is priced CNY 1499, the second variant with 6GB+64GB costs CNY 1599, and the third higher variant with 8GB+128GB storage variant is launched with a price tag of CNY 1799 in China. In India, the Realme X is launched in only two storage variants – 4GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 16,999 and the 8GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 19,999. However, there is no information on whether the new variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage would release in India.
Realme X specifications and Features
The Realme X flaunts a 6.39-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080X2340 pixels and features Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Powering the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with Adreno 616 GPU and up to 8GB RAM. For photography, the smartphone comes with a dual-camera setup housing a 48MP primary sensor, accompanied by the 5MP secondary sensors. For selfie lovers, there is a pop-up camera module with a 16-megapixel Sony IMX 471 selfie sensor. The smartphone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
A massive 3765mAh battery powers the device that also has support for VOOC Flash charge 3.0 for faster charging. The Realme X supports a plethora of connectivity options such as Dual SIM VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A GPS, and Type-C USB port.
